What is your photography style?
My style is based on photojournalism, or documentary-style photography. It’s always been my goal to be a ninja photographer, hopping around quietly and unobtrusively, capturing the authentic and real moments that always happen during a wedding. The big moments that you remember and all those little in-between moments between yourselves and your guests that will make you laugh, smile and even cry when you see them.
During portraits, things change a little. I will give you direction while still striving to keep the look as natural as possible with a fine art touch. For some couples, there is no need for me to say anything. Most couples need a little bit of prodding because let’s face it, most of us are not used to being in front of the camera. The goal is natural, relaxed and very much YOU.
While shooting family and group portraits, I get louder and funnier, always trying to make this part of the day fun and painless.

When will we receive our images?
You will receive the link to your online gallery in 3-4 weeks after your wedding. The high-resolution digital files will be available for download 6-8 weeks after your wedding. If you need any image sooner than that, just let me know!!
Do you shoot elopements?
I love elopements and intimate weddings, where everything is boiled down to the simplest of elements…..the love that you share and the reason behind why you are getting married. Please inquire for more details!
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I am based in Marin, just north of San Francisco. In the summers you will find me shooting weddings in the little town of Victor, Idaho near Jackson Hole. I happily accept travel to anywhere in the world and have traveled for weddings in Costa Rica, Spain, Hawaii, Mexico, the Hamptons, Jackson Hole, Tahoe, and Yosemite.
What are your rates?
My rates start at $3200 for six hours. Options are available for second photographers, additional hours, engagement sessions, custom albums and fine art prints. Please inquire for more details! I offer discounts for elopements, intimate weddings, and weddings in Idaho/Wyoming/Montana.
What do you do when you’re not shooting weddings?
80% of my professional work is weddings. When not shooting weddings, I shoot editorials, food and restaurants, products and travel. See here. I also do family, baby and kid portraits for any of my past wedding clients and friends.
While not formally working, I am still most often found with some sort of camera in my hands and can often be found chasing around my two kids and husband. A true Californian at heart, my free time is spent trail running, hanging out at the beach, camping, mountain biking, watching sunrises and sunsets, chasing cloud shadows and sun beams, and reading lots of books. I love adventure and nothing makes me happier than thinking of ideas of where to wander on a schedule-free day. I’m more likely to be outside than inside but nothing beats being cozy at home with the NY Times and good coffee.
